Observation Task 7: Classroom management and teacher talk


Beginning and ending the day

-Teacher arrives before the pupils.

Teacher’s response to those who are late. What does she say?
 
      Nobody was late today, but if there was she will use a positive reinforcement and ask them "why are you late?" and try to understand what happens and if there's something wrong.
 
 
 
 
 
Starting the day: what does the teacher say? Do?
 
Say: say's hi to the learners, tell them what's the name of today, the date, how's the weather today and what's going to happen, or what they will learn today.
Do: arrange and organize the classroom and but the activities each on the right place.

Say: " KG 2/G line up, be quiet and organized, we will go out to do an activity" she said.

Moving the children: how do they respond?
 
They move quickly to choose an activity in an orderly manner. 
 
  Misbehavior:                Taking his friend's doll and broke it.
  What was the
  learner doing?
 
What did the teacher say? do?
She took the child out of the class with the doll that he broke it, and try to teach him that this is wrong. Then, she let him try to fix it by a glue and      be mad of him.
 
 
How did the child respond:
 
The child was close to cry, he tell the teacher and the girl that he's sorry, feeling remorse and he tried to fix the doll.
                                                
How does the teacher stop the children at the end of an activity? What does she say? do?
"Times up! Everybody stop!" and she's begin singing a song "clean up, clean up, everybody clean up…." And the children stop playing and clean the classroom with the teacher.
